ऑटोनोमिक नर्वस सिस्टम (ANS) पेरिफेरल नर्वस सिस्टम (PNS) का एक हिस्सा है जो आंतरिक अंगों जैसे हृदय, फेफड़े, पुतली, गुर्दे, पेट और आंतों के कार्यों को नियंत्रित करता है। यह सांस लेने, दिल की धड़कन और पाचन प्रक्रियाओं जैसे अनैच्छिक कार्यों को नियंत्रित करता है।
