पूरी तरह से योग्य डोमेन नाम (FQDN), जिसे एक पूर्ण डोमेन नाम के रूप में भी जाना जाता है, एक डोमेन नाम है जो डोमेन नाम सिस्टम (DNS) के पेड़ पदानुक्रम में इसके सटीक स्थान को निर्दिष्ट करता है। आमतौर पर एक FQDN में एक होस्ट और डोमेन नाम और एक टॉप-लेवल डोमेन (TLD) होता है। FQDN पर्याप्त जानकारी प्रदान करता है ताकि इसे एक भौतिक आईपी पते में परिवर्तित किया जा सके। FQDN का उपयोग किसी ग्राहक के लिए वेबपेज या वेबसर्वर के सटीक स्थान को निर्दिष्ट करने के लिए किया जाता है।
