GPS का क्या मतलब है?
GPS की फुल फॉर्म Global Positioning System होती है.
GPS एक रेडियोनेविगेशन टेक्नोलॉजी है जिसको USA के Satelite से संचालित किया जाता है. अब जिसके डिवाइस में GPS रिसीवर है वह इसकी सेवा का फ्री में इस्तेमाल कर सकता है. आजकल के मोबाइल के अंदर इस्तेमाल होने वाले MAP में अपनी लोकेशन GPS की मदद से ही पता लगाते है. USDOD ने इसे सबसे पहले सेना के लिए बनाया था लेकिन बदलते दौर की वजह से इसको नागरिकों के उपयोग के लिए भी शुरू कर दिया गया.
जीपीएस प्रोजेक्ट को सबसे पहले US के द्वारा 1973 में लांच किया गया था.
