JIRA का क्या मतलब है?
JIRA, बग ट्रैकिंग, इश्यू ट्रैकिंग और परियोजना प्रबंधन के लिए उपयोग किया जाने वाला एक उपकरण है, जिसे ऑस्ट्रेलियाई कंपनी Atlassian द्वारा विकसित किया गया है। "JIRA" नाम जापानी शब्द "गोजिरा" से लिया गया है जिसका अर्थ है "गॉडजिला"। मूल रूप से कंपनी ने Bugzilla (एक बग-ट्रैकिंग टूल, जिसे Mozilla Foundation द्वारा विकसित किया गया है) का उपयोग किया, बग ट्रैकिंग के लिए और उनके कार्यालय के डेवलपर्स ने इसे कोड नाम गोजिरा, गॉडज़िला के लिए जापानी नाम (मूल ब्लैक-एंड-व्हाइट) से पुकारना शुरू किया जापानी गॉडजिला फिल्में भी उनके कार्यालय पसंदीदा हैं)। जब उन्होंने अपना बग ट्रैकर विकसित किया, तो गो को गिरा दिया गया - इसलिए JIRA नाम।
