PTFE का क्या मतलब है?
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) एक मजबूत, सख्त, मोमी, नॉनफ्लेम सिंथेटिक सिंथेटिक टेट्राफ्लुओरोइथाइलीन के पोलीमराइजेशन द्वारा निर्मित है। पीटीएफई के लिए आम ब्रांड नाम टेफ्लॉन, फ्लून, होस्टाफ्लॉन और पॉलीफ्लॉन हैं। PTFE हाइड्रोफोबिक (पानी को अस्वीकार करता है), रसायनों, संक्षारण और ऑक्सीकरण के खिलाफ अत्यधिक प्रतिरोधी है और इसमें घर्षण का गुणांक बहुत कम है। PTFE को व्यापक रूप से कुकवेयर में नॉनस्टिक कोटिंग के रूप में उपयोग किया जाता है और कई निर्माण अनुप्रयोगों में हाइड्रोलिक मशीनरी, प्लम्बर के संयुक्त टेप आदि में उपयोग शामिल हैं।
