यामाहा कॉर्पोरेशन एक बहुराष्ट्रीय निगम है जिसका मुख्यालय जापान के शिज़ुमोका के हमामत्सु में है। यामाहा की स्थापना 1887 में एक पियानो और रीड की अंग निर्माण कंपनी के रूप में हुई थी। इसकी स्थापना तोराकसु यामाहा ने निप्पॉन गक्की कंपनी लिमिटेड के रूप में की थी, जिसका शाब्दिक रूप से जापान म्यूजिकल इंस्ट्रूमेंट लिमिटेड था। बाद में, कंपनी का आधिकारिक नाम बदलकर यामाहा कॉर्पोरेशन कर दिया गया।
